Solutions for your DeviceNet Networking

The DeviceNet protocol is a standard for open networking of sensors, actuators, and industrial automation systems in general. It was mainly developed to have maximum flexibility for the single devices and compatibility with different vendors.

The specifications for DeviceNet are maintained by the Open DeviceNet Vendor Association (ODVA). The Data Link Layer is based on CAN (Controller Area Network), the higher layers use the CIP-protocol (Common Industrial Protocol).
